The preface of Charles Dickens´”A Christmas Carol” in my opinion one of the best Christmasstories 
So therefore I found it polite to mention him(C.D.) and the story of the old Ebenezer Scrooge, who changes his life with the help of three ghosts, who(which?) show him the past, present and future!

SANTA CLAUS OR CHRIST CHILD ???
Recently there´s a lot of dicussions about who´s the better representative of our holy public holiday….Santa or Christ Child?! Well I´m in favour of Santa! Why? Well there are “3″ reasons:
1.) He´s simply nice I mean he brings all the presents!! What else is important? 2.) He likes cookies!! 3.) He looks great in red, even a supermodel is not able to hold a candle to him 4.) He´s known as Father Christmas!!! I think that says everything!! 5.) He exists since the 4th century, so he was first there!!! 6.) He´s fat and despite the fact he slides easily through the chimney!! 7.) He´s the “FACE” of the cool Coca Cola advertising!!!
I think these are some good reasons to call him the king of Christmas!
I am curious about the answers :-)

Nevertheless…. SHOOT SANTA, CHRIST CHILD COMES TO POWER!!!
the most important reason FOR ChristChild and AGAINST Santa:
1.) ChristChild is blond
2.) ChristChild isn’t FAT
3.) ChristChild is fast as the wind
4.) ChristChild light up the candels on the christmas tree and strike the bell, before it dissapears
5.) ChristChild isn’t an American Advertising concept
6.) ChristChild is an old tradtion –> ChristChild exists since the 16th century
7.) Nobody knows what exactly ChristChild is doing the whole year and where it lives, so ChristChild is a mysterious creator…

NO CHRISTMAS GIFTS THIS YEAR
An ALLE die mich kennen und die mir etwas zu WEIHNACHTEN schenken möchten…
KAUFT BITTE NICHTS, denn ich habe heuer beschlossen, dass ich keine Geschenke annehmen will/möchte/kann und ich auch keine machen werde…
Ja ich weiss, ich habe voriges Jahr zwar Geschenke gekauft, aber dieses Jahr ist Weihnachten noch mehr eine TORTUR für mich als voriges Jahr…
Es hat ja nichts mit euch persönlich zu tun, aber…

It´s CHRISTMAS-TIME and I adore it!!!
You have an exuse for all those things you can´t do or you can´t be during the rest of the year; that means you can be stressed as much as you like, you can bake, eat and drink punch as much as possible without thinking of your weight and you can sing the whole time(especially Christmas-songs!) and you can watch Actually Love . But there are people and I won´t call any names > LITTLE ANNA, who argue that Christmas is a good time to commit suicide, which I completely don´t understand!
So what´s about this public holiday? ”Suicide Time” or ” Holy Time”?
